So the idea here is that I'm trying to do some pop culture videos, because I have weird and very specific pop culture interests, ideas, and meta-ideas, and I want to talk about and share those.

Also because I'm making toys, and games, and television, and I want to talk about those things, and how and why I do things the way that I do those things.

And then, also also, I want to talk about Computers and tech writ large, because I feel like some of the things that I do with computers are somewhat novel and would be beneficial for other people to know about, and because I want to encourage certain modes of thinking about computers and electronics, and see what that discussion might bring.

@doctormo when you both pop down here to the antipodes, let me know... I'll see if I can organise some chutneys - we tend to have an embarrassment of feijoas when the season rolls around (late March)... the kiwi fruit are more North Island (I'm South Island)...

why people think i'm a self hating Jew: I support a free Palestine

why i'm actually a self hating Jew: this fucking giant nose

@voltur these both turned out so well I thinks they are by far my best builds.

The Time Interview With Trump Provides an Unfettered, Terrifying View of Trump's Mental State #ABlueView 🧵

This interview demands a response that wont be coming from America's paralyzed political system. And that's the most terrifying thing about it.

"His paranoia is reaching mad-king proportions."

@ireneista @mnl it's really cute and the maintainer is super sick

@lavaeolus Geht mir auch so.

I've been slowly working on a video series.

Mostly, right now, I'm writing and doing a little bit of set design, still feeling around the edges of exactly what I'm trying to accomplish and (importantly) what I'm trying to do with the character I will inhabit while recording these videos.

You know, normal stuff.

I'm going to talk about this a little bit, where it sits right now, and what I'm planning on doing, and then I'm going to watch a spooky movie for the Remix The Spooky thread I've been running.

So this will be a short thread, and it might get interrupted in the middle by dinner, or by me finally making up my mind on what I'm going to watch, or by lots of other things who knows.

This would add humor to the 2028 U.S. presidential campaign. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2028-election/john-kennedy-considering-running-presidential-campaign-rcna601389?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us

Wow, this is really going back in time.

Can't wait till they have to remove his jaw and replace it with a prosthetic.

today a friend of a friend who met me like, at most, a handful of times 20 years so recognized me. i was just like, how??? i have different hair…different glasses…I'm 20 years older…I went on testosterone 10 years ago for Christ's sake…

in hindsight it's the nose. there is only one little, vaguely ethnic-looking person on planet earth (or at least in Toronto) with such a monumentally massive schnoz. if i wanted no one to recognize me i should have gotten a nose job. .אוי געוואלט

@catsalad Facebook in particular was hitting my site so hard it was downloading 200+ pages from deep database calls (mediawiki) every minute or so, often with the same data another of the bots just scraped.
